Why hot yoga is constantly becoming more popular

Over the past few years, hot yoga has become a lot more popular. According to Coach Up Inc. in their article, “The Popularity of Hot Yoga,” the growing popularity is due to hot yoga’s appeal to those looking to a workout as well as those who are just yoga-lovers. Coach Up is a website to find the right workouts for you as well as the right trainers. In order to recommend Hot Yoga, Coach Up has done extensive research on it. Hot yoga is becoming more and more popular because of the diverse movements throughout class, the workout, and the sweating involved in each and every class.
According to Coach Up, “hot yoga incorporates 26 different positions and two breathing exercises into an hour and a half session.” So, it makes sense that people keep coming back, because how could that get boring? To me, it never does!

Furthermore, regarding how fun it is Coach Up says that, “ Hot yoga offers participants a slightly different take on traditional yoga, compelling those daring enough to brave the heat and humidity.” So, it is more popular because of the challenge involved in every class.  Also, one can show up to hot yoga everyday looking forward to learning something new -- challenging his or her body in a different way each time. The challenge involved in hot yoga makes it a workout but also, something that is fun to go back to everyday and something that keeps people involved.

Also, hot yoga is very good for our bodies. As health begins to be a major focus in our society and the way our bodies look matter to us (not that they should, but overall in society people care about this), hot yoga can help people be the way they want to be. According to Coach Up, “The heat exerts an additional strain on the body, leading to a better workout.” So, the sweating does not only make us feel like we are getting a good workout, it actually leads us to a great workout!
Coach Up also says, “Surprisingly, this type of yoga class is becoming more and more popular with not only yoga fanatics, but also those looking to get a deep muscle workout.” Therefore, hot yoga is not only great for learning new yoga moves, but also for getting the workout many people desire these days. Hot yoga gives people a great workout, while making them feel “renewed and refreshed,” and is a class that you can actually look forward to going to everyday.

Future research question: What even is "hot yoga"?
